Bowel Cancer Australia's bowelcancer.care online learning modules provide an overview of bowel cancer and investigate the main physical, psychological, social and emotional issues of specific relevance to people newly diagnosed or living with metastatic disease.
Each module focuses on the supportive care of bowel cancer patients and includes strategies for improving their quality of life.
The modules have been designed to:
- Help nurses working in cancer care to recognise the unique needs of bowel cancer patients
- Enhance nurses' communication skills so they can better educate and support bowel cancer patients
- Assist nurses to empower bowel cancer patients to become advocates for their own health
The next business day following registration, you will receive an email from the Bowel Cancer Australia team with your login username and password. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us on 02 9923 8269.
