Bowel Cancer Australia's bowelcancer.care online learning modules provide an overview of bowel cancer and investigate the main physical, psychological, social and emotional issues of specifically relevant to people newly diagnosed or living with metastatic disease.
Each module focuses on the supportive care of bowel cancer patients and includes strategies for improving their quality of life.
The modules have been designed to:
- Help nurses working in cancer care to recognise the unique needs of bowel cancer patients
- Enhance nurses' communication skills so they can better educate and support bowel cancer patients
- Assist nurses to empower bowel cancer patients to become advocates for their own health

Bowelcancer.care online learning modules are endorsed by ACN according to our Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Endorsed Course Standards.
